Creation is a divine characteristic. Are you a creator in your life and of your life? If you feel you could use some guidance in this area, take a listen to this episode. You will leave feeling uplifted and with a greater desire to create. Coach Alicia Davis believes in the importance of tapping into our creator capabilities and truly learning what we are meant to create with our lives. Being a people pleaser is something that can get a bad wrap, but in many ways the intention of the people pleaser is very well meaning. They want everyone to be happy and they want to control people and situations so that the outcome is positive for everyone involved. In reality though, it’s a power struggle and believe it or not can be manipulative. Those being manipulated know it and they become resentful. Having strong willed children, who make their own choices, can be a challenge for any parent but for people pleasing parents this can often be the worst case scenario because they will try to find where they went wrong, what they could have done differently, and where they need to gain back control. But children are just like anyone else, they can’t be controlled. They have their own agency and want to make their own decisions.
What if someone told you that everything you wanted you could actually have? That wanting a successful business didn’t mean you had to sacrifice your relationships with your spouse or your children. Coach Marcie McGee feels that we really only limit ourselves and what we can achieve by the limiting thoughts we have. She believes you can have it all and she wants to help each of her clients do just that. On the podcast today Marcie will share how everyone gets to define their own success and then go after it. She wants to show you how, not only in your personal life but in your professional life and in your callings within the Church. This is a podcast you are not going to want to miss. It’s probably safe to say that women in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints love two things very much - the gospel and their children. But what happens when those two things come into conflict with one another? There has been a lot of discussion in recent years on how parents of children who are LGBTQ can continue to love and support their children while still holding fast to the truths of the gospel. Coach Jenie Hunter has created a community of support and hope for these mothers. Come listen to today’s podcast as she shares how moms can become “touch points of Christ” for their children and have meaningful relationships with their children all while holding true to the gospel and its teachings. This is an episode you don’t want to miss. It’s full of hope and love and so much light. You will truly have your heart filled by taking a listen.
When you are young you feel your parents are invincible and will never have failing health or need extra care from you as their child. But as life expectancy increases in the United States it is a role many of us will most likely find ourselves in at some point and in some capacity. Coach Meredith Gardner helps her clients take on this role by balancing their obligations and their desire so that they can live in a space of contentment rather than resentment. Come listen today to learn how to navigate this often unspoken role you may currently be navigating or find yourself navigation in the future.
Finding fulfillment in life goes beyond simply checking all the boxes of the things we feel we need to do as members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Fulfillment doesn’t come from a checklist but from a conscious and deliberate effort in pursuing and doing the things that make one happy. Today coach Bob Smith is here today to talk about how he helps men in the Church move past the checklist so they can live the life they want and are meant to live. If you are or know a man in your life who is doing all he can to live the right way but still seems like he is not living the life he desires to live, you need to listen to this podcast.
No one ever gets married with an intention of getting divorced and yet divorce is something that still happens. In the Church there are a lot of thoughts that surround the topic of divorce and it can be a hard arena to know how to navigate both as someone going through a divorce and someone supporting a divorcee. After being married for over twenty years, Tanya Hale decided that divorce was the next best step for her. She says it was the hardest decision of her life and yet she has used it as something that has allowed her to grow in the ways she knows Heavenly Father needed her to grow and it has truly allowed her to know how to fully love herself. You can hear the growth in her voice as Tanya gives great insight on how to gracefully navigate this often difficult situation.
In its simplest form, life is broken down into two categories - stories and facts. Facts are simply the things that occur in our lives. They are usually out of our control and something that everyone around us would agree on as having happened or not happened. Stories are created by us and are created by our thoughts about the facts. One person’s story of a set of facts can be very different from another person’s story. It’s not that the facts have changed but the story each individual is telling themselves is what has changed. Why is it important to know the difference? Because the stories - not the facts- you tell yourself will directly link to the results you have in your life. If you want different results you don’t need to change the facts, just the story, and that is great news because that’s all you can change. Today on the podcast Heather and coach Kendra Huffman explain the difference between a story and a fact and why recognizing the difference is essential to creating the life you want.
