Mosiah 25–28

In this episode we’ll talk about Mosiah chapters twenty-five through twenty-eight. We’ll focus mostly on the story of Alma the Younger and the sons of Mosiah. We’ll talk about the process of change. We’ll review how some people get frustrated with their own protracted change process, when they read about people like Alma the Younger who seem to have changed instantly. We’ll look at details that show how the change that Alma and his friends went through was long and arduous, just like the change we all go through. We’ll review the benefits of enduring the long, difficult roads.

This week, we’re sharing a fascinating conversation we had with Josh Coates, a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and founder of the BH Roberts Foundation. The BH Roberts Foundation is the non-profit behind Mormonr, a producer of Latter-day Saint media that tackles hard questions about the faith, as well as "LDSBot," an AI-driven chatbot that is able to handle just about any question about Latter-day Saint culture and theology shockingly well.

Leading‏‏‎ ‎Like Elder David B. Haight

Over the last 45 years, Jim Ritchie has been the founder or principal of multiple business adventures, including serving as senior vice president for Franklin Quest (now Franklin Covey). He is a member of the Brigham Young University President’s Leadership Council for both Provo and Hawaii campuses, a member of the National Advisory Council for the Marriott School of Business, and has served as an adjunct professor at Provo. He has also served as a board member and NAC advisor to Southern Virginia University.
